Personal Property

RDInitiative accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property of any Attendee at any point during the Campus.

Personal Information

Please note that Attendees’ contact details will be kept on the RDInitiative database, which will only be used by RDInitiative. RDInitiative does not record or store credit card or bank related information.

Unless RDInitiative has received an explicit request from an Attendee disallowing to share his/her contact information, a list of all Attendees, their affiliation institutions and email addresses will be included in the delegate packs and distributed to other Campus participants and to the speakers.

The email addresses will also be used to circulate last minute details and announcements of future RDInitiative events.

If you would like your record to be deleted after the Campus, please notify RDInitiative by email (info@rdinitiative.com).

Usage of Photographic and Video Materials

RDInitiative may hire professional service providers (photo/video/streaming/audio) to document and display the Campus events. We may also use social media to: (i) post photos and videos and (ii) display select submissions from those feeds on monitors throughout the event venue.

By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree as follows: (a) RDInitiative may capture, edit and use footage it captures (both photographic and video) at the Campus for marketing and promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its business; and (b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, RDInitiative disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other Attendees of the Campus.

Participation and Behaviour

The Campus Attendees are expected to behave professionally. Use of obscene language, abusive behaviour, or threatening behaviour directed to any Campus Attendees, speakers, or RDInitiative staff will not be tolerated. RDInitiative reserves the right to deny entry of Attendees to any Campus events due obscene language, abusive, threatening or otherwise unacceptable behaviour. Excluded Attendees will not be refunded the cost of participation in the Campus.
